22. Three Pokemon Players Got Locked in a Cemetery Playing the Game
Three “Pokemon Go” players got so caught up in playing the game, they ended up getting locked inside a cemetery in northeastern Pennsylvania.
As reported by the Times Tribune, the cemetery gates are closed once it gets dark and this happened while the three players were still trying to catch animated creatures. The trio called the police at 9:31 p.m. for help in getting out. The three were freed and the police did not charge them with trespassing.
23. Pokemon Go Players Credited With Helping in Arresting a Man Wanted for Attempted Murder
According to ABC 7 News in Los Angeles, two men who were playing Pokemon Go, assisted the police in catching an attempted murder suspect.
Seth Ortega and Javier Soch, both Marines, were playing the game in a park, when they noticed a man acting strangely to a family who were also playing the game. He then moved on and hounded another family, where he touched one of the boys.
Both Marines then accosted the man and held on to him until police officers arrived.
The man was arrested for child annoyance, but then it was later discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for attempted murder in Sonoma, California.
24. Animal Shelter Wants Players to Walk Their Dogs
An Indiana animal shelter has jumped on the ‘Pokemon Go’ wave by placing a pretty unique ad. The Muncie Animal Shelter shared a post on their Facebook page, asking players to come out “and walk an adoptable dog as you hunt for Pokemon and hatch eggs!” The ad went viral and there have been a line of people lining up to walk the dogs, as they go searching for their virtual creatures.
25. Entrepreneurs Are Offering Uber-Style Rides For Pokémon Go Players
Pokemon Go requires players to do a lot of walking, but a lot of entrepreneurs are jumping on the augmented reality game wave and offering Uber-Style rides for players.
Ads are popping up around the country on Craigslist, with people looking to chauffeur you around various cities for only $20-$30 per hour. Gizmodo is reporting that some of the drivers are even including perks like free snacks, phone chargers, and wi-fi.

26. An Uber Driver Gets Creative and Offers a Service for Pokemon Go Players
One enterprising Uber Drive, decided to offer a service, taking people to Pokemon hotspots. He only charges $10 an hour and is booked out from 11 AM – 3 PM daily.
27. A News Anchor Walks Through a Live Weather Forecast Playing the Game
Weatherman, Bobby Deskins of WTSP 10 News in Florida was in the middle of a live weather forecast, when, news anchor Allison Kropff walked right in front of him, while her head was buried in her phone, as she played Pokemon Go.
While the whole event seemed to be staged by Kropff, Deskins was totally oblivious to what was going on. He “You guys got to be careful with these phones and these Pokemon. You’re just walking around all over.” You can hear laughter coming from the WTSP team in the background.
